To keep away from the burnout of constantly looking for new gear and re-running zones to target events, I've really tried getting into the new survival mode. I play hard mode comfortably in campaigns (solo or co-op) and have been dipping my toes into Nightmare adventures to keep things fun and challenging since I have quite a lot of +20 gear now and a few decent builds ready. You can easily get 7,000-9,000 scrap per map.
